Entry Level ERP Implementation Consultant

Tensoft, Inc. is a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner, recognized for our innovative business management software solutions and our excellent customer service. We are currently seeking an Entry Level ERP Implementation Consultant to work with Tensoft implementation teams and on Tensoft support activities. Good communication skills are essential — communication is required within the Tensoft teams as well as with Tensoft customers.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Help customers learn to use software to meet their business goals.
  • Join Tensoft project delivery and implementation plan models.
  • Analyze data based on standard models and end customer review
  • Document knowledge transfer and installation for project history and process improvement.
  • Effective communication of issues, needs, status, and project impact to the Tensoft Project Manager and extended team.
  • Knowledge base development and update for supported applications.
  • Participate in Tensoft internal project and best practices reviews.
  • Ability to work to a defined process

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Must have:

  • Ability to understand specifications and end user requirements
  • Accounting degree and/or background

Desired:

  • Experience with Dynamics GP
  • Experience with Microsoft CRM, Knowledge Worker, and tools.
  • Cr Credentials and Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Demonstrated ability with software and systems thinking
  • Relevant systems administration or systems analyst experience.

Entry Level ERP Systems Technical Consultant

Report To: Director of Client Service and Delivery and Systems Lead

Job Summary: This individual should be able to work in Tensoft implementation teams and on Tensoft support activities. Implementation efforts will include product installation and technical configuration, data conversion support, upgrade support, and report development. Support activities will cover a variety of application activities for the supported products. Good communication skills are essential — communication is required within the Tensoft teams as well as with Tensoft customers.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Understanding Tensoft project delivery and implementation plan models.
  • Installation and configuration of standard and custom software products in a variety of systems and network environments.
  • Supporting data conversion based on standard models and end customer review
  • Documenting installation and upgrade steps for project history.
  • Understanding software security, software compliance, and acceptance testing / roll-out models to support appropriate update of client environments.
  • Effective communication of issues, needs, project status, and project impact to the Tensoft Project Manager as well as, when appropriate, to the end customer.
  • Knowledge base development and update related to supported applications.
  • Prompt update of time and expense tracking systems.
  • Participate in Tensoft internal project reviews and best practices reviews.
  • Administration of web/application servers
  • Ability to work to a defined process
  • Upward communicate status and issues on a regular basis

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Must have:

    Database and SQL Knowledge, Microsoft SQL Server knowledge.

  • Systems Environment knowledge, including Windows Platforms, Citrix Platforms, VPN and Remote Access Models, .NET deployments, Application Servers and Web Servers, Network Security and Bandwidth Models.
  • Basic IIS administration and configuration
  • Ability to understand specifications and end user requirements to build SRS (Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services) reports.

Desired:

  • VBA, VBA for Dynamics GP
  • Application installation and configuration knowledge for Microsoft Dynamics, Microsoft Knowledge Worker, and Tensoft products.
  • Experience with Windows SharePoint Services (WSS) or Microsoft Office Sharepoint Server (MOSS)
  • Knowledge of appropriate IT practices based on company size

Credentials and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Microsoft SQL Server Certifications or demonstrated experience
  • Relevant systems administration or systems analyst experience.
