Microsoft Dynamics
Tensoft has been re-selling and supporting Microsoft Dynamics for 10 years, moving quickly to Gold Certified status as a Value Added Re-seller (VAR). But what does Gold certification actually mean, and how does it provide value for our customers?
Microsoft's current partner program consists of three levels: Registered, Certified and Gold Certified. Each level requires increasing commitment and achievement, as measured by individual certifications of product expertise, customer references, and revenue goals. However, the current program will be replaced in October, 2010 with another that raises the bar even higher.
Here's what will be required of a Gold Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Partner:
- Employ at least six consultants who are proficient in deploying and supporting Microsoft Dynamics products, and who have passed at least one of the required certification exams.
- Meet the new, higher revenue commitments.
- Pass implementation methodology and business assessment exams.
- Provide additional customer references.
- Participate in a customer satisfaction survey.
As of July, 2010, Tensoft has already met these requirements. The value to our customers is an implementation and support team that has both the most current product knowledge and extensive experience in the field.
You should expect more than just competence in delivering an ERP solution, however. True "Value Add" can only be delivered by experts who have a deep understanding of your industry. Why spend time educating consultants about your industry when you could be reaping the benefits of working with industry experts?
