MNC 3.0 Upgrade: Historical Rates and Consolidation Tracking
Tensoft’s Multi-National Consolidation (MNC) module for Microsoft Dynamics GP consolidates financial data across companies that operate in different functional currencies. This allows companies with multi-national entities to perform local accounting functions in their local currencies. This keeps the information consolidated and maintained in a central location. In addition, MNC provides faster processing of disparate financial data along with increased efficiency throughout the consolidation process.
In the new version of MNC 3.0 features were enhanced to increase efficiency and for greater productivity. This upgrade will introduce an easier way to assign Historical rates to any Microsoft Dynamics GP account on an entity by entity basis. This new feature allows you to have one view to ensure that the proper consolidation methods are being applied across your organization. Consolidation tracking, an additional feature, has also been enhanced so you will always know what entities have been consolidated and when they took place.
Companies should consider MNC 3.0 because it eliminates the need to track consolidated financial data on excel worksheets or to wait for final numbers from subsidiaries. Those interested would streamline their closing process into a few highly efficient, auditable steps. With Tensoft’s Multi-National Consolidation, you are allowed multiple consolidations ensuring that any incremental postings are captured in a timely manner. This ensures up-to-date financials, which are always available during the closing process. With MNC, errors are eliminated and the consolidation process is fully auditable. This allows all Dynamics GP business logic to remain compliant with any internal processes that are in place.
Consolidated reporting is also made easier through the power of FRx. MNC consolidates data in way that allows FRx to easily report consolidated numbers by entity, business unit, account, or any other number of criteria you have defined in your account structure. Financial reporting can also be done in both the consolidation currency and local currency from the same database. If your company can use an upgrade, drop those excel spreadsheets, and let us know what we can do for you.
