Tensoft, Inc. is committed to helping ensure that our customers’ security and data privacy are protected, and to complying with the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). This regulation goes into effect on May 25, 2018. Its goal is to give European Union (EU) citizens better control over their data, and to unify existing security and privacy laws. The GDPR applies both to companies that operate within the EU, and to companies outside of the EU that: 1) have any EU customers; or, 2) maintain the personal data of anyone located within the EU.
Like many other global software companies, Tensoft is preparing to roll out its company-wide GDPR policy program by the May 25, 2018 deadline. Tensoft appreciates that some of its customers may have requirements under the GDPR, and Tensoft is committed to helping them fulfill those requirements.
We fully expect that related technologies and regulations will continue to evolve over time. In response, Tensoft anticipates that we will continue evolving our policies and safeguards in response to these changes. As this occurs, we will update our website with the most currently available information, and will directly inform affected customers, as well as providing any requested information.
